Simon Rosenberg Part 1
Simon Rosenberg Part 2 (Q&A)
This event analysed the ongoing US presidential election, the fortunes of the various campaigns, and the state of American progressive politics in the final year of the Bush presidency and beyond. We were delighted to host Simon Rosenberg, President and Founder of the New Democrat Network (NDN), a leading progressive advocacy group and think tank, who flew in from Washington to speak at the event.
Mr Rosenberg is a former adviser to President Clinton, a former candidate for the Chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee, and a leading political commentator and strategist. He was recently named one of the 50 most influential people in Washington and has worked in national politics and the media for more than 20 years. During his time at NDN, Rosenberg has helped elect more than 50 new members to the Senate and House of Representatives, helping progressives reach out to and communicate with Hispanic voters.
