The Centre for Cities works with a range of public and private sector partners.

We have close links with business groups such as the British Chambers of Commerce, Confederation of British Industry and London First.

In terms of specific cities and towns, we have just completed new research on Newcastle's economy and on transport in the Leeds city-region. We are also looking at innovation in a number of different cities, and plan to do more work in London during the 2008 Mayoral election year.
- We're hosting an All Party Parliamentary Group on urban development with the British Property Federation
- We collaborated with Policy Exchange at the Conservative and Labour party conferences 2007, and with Centre Forum at the Lib Dems.

We collaborated with Virgin Trains on 'Connecting Cities', a series of fringe events at all three party conferences.

We also collaborated with DLA Piper at party conferences, with a series of Cities Question Time panel events.

We have a growing list of funding partners, in addition to the Gatsby Foundation, and are very grateful to them for supporting our research so far. Current partners include PricewaterhouseCoopers, NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts), the Local Government Association and West Yorkshire PTE.
